About the artwork
The collection of works by five of the most prominent Czech female photographers is a vibrant statement on the search for identity, the role of women, and the individual's position in society. This is expressed through delicate still lifes, as well as abstract explorations of various structures and forms, culminating in the effort to portray the self.
Description
Part of the editon is a collector's box, the boards of which are covered with Toile Ocean, an innovative and sustainable coating material from Swiss creative packaging manufacturer Winter & Company. The synthetic canvas is made from ocean plastic and woven from 100% recycled plastic waste. The photographs themselves are realised using Giclée's archival pigment printing technology, which can create perfectly subtle tonal gradients and a wide range and depth of colours which is supported by the selected Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper. The edition is signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate guaranteeing the authors' supervision of the final print and their authenticity.
