Eye of Cuttlefish

We are looking at the eye of the cuttlefish, who seems to be watching us. We can be fascinated by its ability to change colours and moods. We can admire the elegance of a creature whose essence can inscribe itself anywhere and in anyone. Cuttlefish can be a beautiful woman, a dancer, a manager, energetic and calm at the same time. A photograph inscribed in glass can be a cameo, a talisman or a conspiratorial sign that we are aware of our own abilities, but also of the capabilities of the beings around us.

The author's fascination with the mythological world of fauna and flora runs through all her work. She notices the details of various animals and their stories in order to give them a new shape, context or attention.

Bio

Miroslava Večeřová studied Fine Art at the Camberwell College of Arts in London (BA) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (MA). Since 2019 she has been also undergoing various trainings in energy works, alternative healings alongside movement and psychotherapy courses (Foundation).
